Spooky Card

This is the card I did for Bazzill's Halloween card swap.  It fetaures paper from thier All Hallow's Eve collection, Tim Holt'z rosette die, Teresa Collin's Chic & Scary cartridge for Cricut, washi tape, gems, glitter stickers & epoxy brads.

Be You Card

EVERY SINGLE DAY...BE YOU!

This is a card a did for Bazzill's card swap featuring thier "Vintage Marketplace" paper line by Margie Romney-Aslett.  I also used ribbon by Bazzill, lace by Prima Marketing & washi tape by Queen & Co.  I absolutely love the subtle vintage flair of this line in beautiful shades of pink, aqua & bright green.

Bazzill Love Card Swap

I love participating in Bazzill's card swaps!  I really enjoy creating my cards for each swap and I cannot wait to see what creative goodies I will get back in return.  Everyone is SO talented, there is never a bad one in the bunch!  Pictured above is my card for this month's swap.

I used the Kraft Sonnet and the Kraft Wallpaper patterned papers and paired it with a dark chocolate cardstock.  I used a chalkboard technique before stamping the You + Me = Love image from 7 Gypies and embossing it with white detail embossing powder.  I misted the 4" doily with Heidi Swapp's Primrose Color Shine spray and embellished it with pearl headed pins, heart eyelets from Making Memories, Pink Astor Hug Snug, a paper flower from ColorBok's Antique Paperie collection of course a little bling :)

The current swap deadline is February 1st.  There is still plenty of time to participate.  If you are intersted, you can check out the details on the Bazzill's swap page but here it is in a nutshell:

8.   Individually package cards & include a label with your full and and city/state
9.   Mail your cards to Bazzil prior to the deadline.  All cards must be received by Feb 1st
10. Bazzill will mail 1 of your cards back with 9 from your fellow swappers

Hope to get one of your cards back with mine.

Fotobella Design Team - December Sneak Peak

Hi All!  It's Christmas and we are just gearing up for the holdidays at my house.  I am enjoying it more this year than I have since moving to Arizona 5 1/2 years ago.  Crafting, planning for the holidays & looking forward to spending time with my whole family.  My monthly shipment from Fotobella only added to the excitement of the season.

A few months ago, I announced that I was selected to be a Design Team member for Fotobella.com.  I absolutely love this site.  They carry a huge assortment of products from the scrapbooking industry's leading manufacturers.  My favorite things on the site are the bundles.

As you all know, I am a scrapbook collector.  When I like a line, I want everthing in that line...paper, stickers, bling, embellishments, etc.  I want it all! Each bundle contains an assorment of product from one scrapbook line and there are options for every budget.  Because I am a collector, I am obsessed with the "I Want It All Bundles".  They contain EVERYTHING!

Around the 3rd week of the month, I start checking the mailbox every day to see if my Fotobella package arrived.  I am like a kid anxiously anticipating the arrival of Santa and am excited when it arrives :)  We never know what product we are going to work with that month.  I was suprized when I opened my box from Fotobella for my December project.  It was like an early Christmas present! Here is a sneak of what was in my box:

HINT:  It is from one of my favorite lines & I cannot wait to show you what you can do with this amazing holiday bundle.  Keep an eye out for my post and the other December Design Team project posts on the Fotobella Blog.  May the magic of the season put a smile on your face :)

Out of the Box...First Class at CraftFusion

Out of the Box

Here's a sample from my first class coming up July 14th at CraftFusion in Chandler AZ.  Class will be from 10:30-2:30 & a delicious lunch will be included. The project we are making will feature the "Carolina Breeze" collection from Teresa Collins and include baubles, bling & LOTS of sparkly things! Students will make 4 cards (2 each of 2 sizes), 3 tags & a dates to remember book. The best part is they all fit into an awesome one-of-a-kind box which is also included with the class kit. It's a "one stop shop" for cards & gifts :) Call the store if you are interested in signing up 480-821-3758.  Can't make it to class?  Use the contact me tab if you'd like to purchase a class kit with full color instructions.
